One hour class - Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:15 am
Yoga is a set of physical practices that includes gentle stretches, breathing practices and progressive, deep relaxation. On Monday experience Hatha Yoga, a gentle way to strengthen your body, sharpen your focus and stretch your mind with intense concentration and slow movement. Poses are held for 30 seconds up to two minutes, developing strength and flexibility as we work to improve alignment and concentration. Wednesday is a Vinyasa Flow class and helps to improve cardiovascular health. Synchronizing breathing with movement improves circulation, metabolism, strength, flexibility and concentration. This class is set to rhythmic music which aids in breathing control. Friday is Power Yoga! If you think that Yoga is just about stretching, then think again! The uplifting music during Friday Power Yoga will leave you feeling detoxified, sweaty, and ready to face the weekend. Don't forget to check out Saturday Morning Yoga too! All levels are welcome for all yoga classes.
